The person behind Dangel Studio
I grew up in a Swabian village with twice as many cows as people. Physics and computer science brought me to Heidelberg for university, and I never left: I live and work here to this day.
My professional background is enterprise software consulting: big systems, integrations, client projects. These days that includes helping colleagues get comfortable with AI tools. At university I spent as much time on software engineering and quality management as on machine learning, and that mix shaped how I work:
I build with AI support, but test and prove every result before it reaches you.
I recharge in the water and at the gym, ideally on long sessions. At one 24-hour swim I logged just over 50 kilometers, so endurance is not the problem. Beyond that: Japanese green tea (the collection is slowly outgrowing its shelf), skiing in winter, and a soft spot for seals.
